Bio Tim Georgeson

TIM GEORGESON (1969) has been working as a photographer since 1997, focusing on culture, social-environmental documentary and lesser-known political issues. More recently, he has been using portraiture in art and avant-garde fashion projects to explore the depths and undercurrents of modern Western society in fresh and colourful ways. He began making motion works in 2009 for advertising, music videos and art.

He has shot campaigns for, Ben, Hans Brinker Hotel, Oxfam, Adidas, I Amsterdam, TDK, NEC,Nikon, Olympus, Rolex, WWF, IFAW, Zuivel, Nokia, Wilson, Virgin Air. His work has been published extensively around the world in publications such as NY Times magazine, National Geographic, Colors, Newsweek, Geo, Paris Match, The New Yorker. His work is held in private collections in Australia, USA, Holland and Canada. He has won many awards, including Worldpress photo, Leica, National Geographic Best International Feature, Cannes Lion Titanium.
